DEVELOPMENT OF THE GAME IS ONGOING !!
Our team is currently working on the game's development. My actual focus in this project is on online multiplayer. To achieve this, I'm using Unity's solution called Netcode for GameObjects. The core mechanics of the game perform seamlessly online, and the host/client networking is fully implemented and reliable. It uses the Facepunch Protocol, with Steam acting as the intermediary for initial matchmaking with friends and family, the game's target audience.
The game development uses the latest LTS version of Unity to take advantage of the new multiplayer features showcased in this release (thanks to Unity Multiplayer Play Mode, testing the networking gameplay is no longer killing my RAM.).Â
